15 Dresses I Want To See on the 2014 Primetime Emmy Red Carpet

The 2014 Primetime Emmy Awards are tonight, and I’ve been thinking a lot about what dresses I want to see on the red carpet. I thought I’d play a fun game and choose the 15 dresses I’m DYING to see, and who I think should wear them. Can’t wait to tune in later tonight and see if I’m right! Check them out below:ARM_1447.450x675

Armani Prive

Would Love to See It On: Allison Williams

Why I Love It: The color is amazing. The cut is flawless, and the texture is so intricate and special, it’s a total Best Dressed List shoo-in.

zuhair muradZuhair Murad

Would Love to See it On: Julie Bowen or Kate Walsh

Why I Love It: A little bit geometric, a little bit sparkly, majorly sexy. The dress is just SO modern, and there wont’ be anything else like it on the red carpet.

odlrOscar de la Renta

Would Love to See it On: Lizzy Caplan or Sarah Hyland

Why I Love It: The tiers, the polka dots, everything is just perfection. The polka dots are youthful and fun, but still glamorous. Besides, NO ONE cuts a dress like Oscar.

Would Love to See it On: Laura Carmichael

Why I Love It: The mustard color is so unique, and the cut is such a beautiful fusion of modern and vintage. Couldn’t you just see Lady Edith in this?

Would Love to See it On: Lena Headey

Why I Love It: The dress is so beautifully draped and vintagey! I love the plunging neckline, and of course, it’s so sparkly.

Would Love to See it On: Emilia Clarke

Why I Love It: I love the tea length, but also the cool factor. The dress is just COOL and downtown, but still feminine.

Would Love to See it On: Anna Gunn

Why I Love It: It’s a bit remniscent of Julie Bowen’s dress at the Golden Globes…  I love that it’s a modern take on vintage and is still conservative but sexy. The color is beautiful; it’s just a tasteful and elegant dress.

Would Love to See it On: Lena Dunham

Why I Love It: This is just QUIRKY and fun. I’d love to see someone take a risk on the red carpet in something like this.

Would Love to See it On: Ariel Winter

Why I Love It: The flowers are just so intricate and gorgeous. This dress is so special and light, would love to see it on the red carpet. (And it would be perfect on a teen starlet!)

Would Love to See it On: Claire Danes

Why I Love It: The plunging neckline, the sparkles, the chiffon… this dress is a true showstopper and worthy of a nominee!

elie saab 2Zuhair Murad

Would Love to See it On: Sofia Vergara

Why I Love It: The cut of the dress is flawless and the mermaid shape is SO flattering. A black dress is the perfect canvas for major jewels.

donna karanDonna Karan

Would Love to See it On: Taylor Schilling

Why I Love It: First of all, this is wishful thinking, because Taylor basically ALWAYS wears Prabal. But I love this dress, it’s so fun and flirty! The chiffon is so glamorous and the double slits are really sexy.

Would Love to See it On: Kerry Washington

Why I Love It: This jeweled dress is a major showstopper. Kerry has shown she isn’t afraid of this silhouette, and wears it quite a lot. I’d love to see this on her.
