There’s just something about the New Year. Fresh start, new beginnings, clean slate. The start of a new year is so full of promise, isn’t it? Everyone makes New Year’s Resolutions, but most of us forget them by February 1. I personally have a love/hate relationship with New Year’s Resolutions. I think it’s really important to set goals for ourselves and visualize where we want to be. At the same time, it also takes discipline and dedication to see them through… and most of the time, I don’t think we really want to put in the hard work to get where we want to go. Plus, let’s be honest, we get busy.
2013 was a really tumultuous year for me personally. Lots of changes, new beginnings and decisions. Launching A Sparkle Factor LLC was a huge step and something I’m really proud and excited about! I’m looking forward to helping a lot of women define their personal style and get on track sartorially in 2014.
This year, I’m making a list of where I want to be next year and then making a plan for how I’m going to get there. I’m not really calling them resolutions, it’s more like taking stock. However, I AM setting some style resolutions, would love to share them with you!
So what do you think? What are YOUR style resolutions for 2014? Are you making any? Tell me in the comments!
