Hey there! I’m finally back in Miami after a sort-of whirlwind trip… a week in Boston with some blogger pals and a few days in New York for meetings. I got back late last night… it feels SO good to be back in my own bed, and even better to finally be back to posting! I swear, I miss writing and sharing with you so much when something happens and I can’t post! I was trying to get posts up earlier this week, but of course, my laptop basically died on the road. Problems you NEVER want to have as a blogger! So excited to settle in front of my computer with ALL the coffee and look through photos of the trip! We had so, so much fun and I absolutely fell in love. Plotting ways on how I can move there next…
The weather was absolutely beautiful; crisp and cool, the quintessential fall day. I was so excited to finally get a chance to wear some cozy sweaters, leather jackets, and major over-the-knee boots! I’ll be sharing my fall style with ya here over the next few weeks, as well as travel guides and hotel reviews in Boston and one for the SWEETEST little spot in Nantucket. (PS: Nantucket is my new favorite place! If you’ve never been, you absolutely must plan a trip. SO WORTH IT.)
But first up… I absolutely had to share this look with you. It’s by far one of my favorites! This cape from ILY Couture is so cozy and warm, I can’t recommend it enough. It was like wearing a big comfy blanket, but 1,000 times chicer! The cape is SO versatile… wear it with jeans, leather leggings, or even over a dress like I did here. It’s sort of reversible… more black on one side and more gray on the other. You can choose which side works better with your outfit, which I love. (Like two capes in one!)
I belted the dress under so that it would be a little bit sexier, but I LOVE the dress unbelted as well. It’s flowy and easy, super chic. I love the crisscross detail and the flowy bell sleeves. This dress can definitely be dressed up or dressed down as well as layered to be warmer or cooler depending on the weather where you live.
Can we take a minute to drool over these boots? I am… obsessed. They are just so gorgeous and actually wildly comfortable, which is so rare for a heeled boot. The over-the-knee style is just so NOW, and the construction is sturdy enough that they stay up… a major problem with many pairs of OTK boots! They’re under $200 and just the most gorgeous, luxe suede. I’ll be living in them all fall, don’t even care what the weather is like in Miami. #dealwithit.
These beautiful Kendra Scott earrings… I LOVE the marble and rose gold together. Isn’t it just the chicest combination? KS rose gold is always my favorite because it’s so subtle… the rose isn’t too much. Some rose golds veer into copper/pink, but the Kendra Scott rose golds are always very subtle. They’re also available in a variety of colors including lapis, which is majorly stunning as well. (BTW– the ring?? SO NECESSARY.)
Thanks so much for reading! I can’t wait to share this trip with you… let me know if there’s anything you want to read about re: Boston! What do you want to know? Tell me in the comments!
