Since I’m sharing some of my cruise looks and a little bit about my vacay this week, I first wanted to share what I wore ONTO the ship and the first afternoon!
I popped into Target to scoop up toiletries for my trip at, no lie, 11pm on Saturday night after the Mara Hoffman Swim Show at the Versace Mansion. (Did you see my Snaps?? AMAZING.) While I was there, I spotted this black tassel dress that is a DEAD RINGER for my favorite (sold out) Fire tassel dress from Nordstrom that literally every blogger and their mother was wearing a couple of months ago. I had scooped up the navy version at Nordy, but never really posted it, because, well, you know… I figured you guys would be sick of seeing it everywhere. I stopped dead in my tracks at Target when I spotted the black dress… because I LOVE the navy version and was so sad when it was sold out. Plus, you can’t really go wrong with a black dress, right? I love the sleeves, the tassels, and the off the shoulder silhouette! It makes a really great bathing suit coverup, or can be worn as just a normal dress with a cute wedge or a flat sandal. SUPER VERSATILE, guys. (Styling note: no idea why they styled it on the site NOT as an off the shoulder?? I wore it as one, whatever.)
I had my eye on these Sole Society wedges for awhile; I loved that the cork bottom felt summery but also makes the shoe way more comfortable… a definite must in a wedge. (I totally needed them to be- if you’ve ever been on a cruise, you know they make you stand on the deck for a lifeboat drill for, like, hours.)
I decided to finish the look with the J.Crew Panama hat that I bought to replace my much-loved Belize hat by Physician Endorsed, my new Fantaseyes ‘Jazz Club’ sunnies that I’ve basically worn in every picture on Instagram lately, and this really cute tan belt that I picked up at Target. I would usually wear the dress loose, but wanted to cinch the waist this time. Shop the look below and tell me what you think in the comments!
