Choies Long Sleeve Floral Romper
Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend! If you follow along on snapchat, you may have gotten a little peek at the Kendra Scott Color Bar party yesterday where we designed out jewels for Kristin’s wedding! I can’t even believe it’s already almost here. I am so excited to stand up there next to one of my besties on her big day. This weekend FLEW by, it was so busy! And also…
Ya’ll. THE HEAT. I don’t know about in the rest of the country, but here in Miami, it’s been full on summertime. 80s, muggy, rainy, the works. #AWFUL. To distract myself from how unpleasant it all is, I’ve been using it as an opportunity to rock some of my favorite spring and summer trends. Mainly? The romper. Rompers are my absolute fave… easy, chic, one piece dressing. Sign me up. The only thing I loathe about rompers is the “getting naked in a public bathroom” part. Insert eye roll emoji here, right?
I ordered this pretty floral romper a few weeks ago and was psyched when it came in. HELLO. IT IS $11. That’s the first thing you need to know. $11. That’s two grande S’mores Frapps from Starbucks. For a romper.
The second is that I love the fluttery shorts and the crochet detail on the hem. It gives the whole thing a little bit of movement, which I’m all about.
Word of warning… the neckline is PLUNGING. Yep. I don’t mind a plunging neckline, I’ll be honest. I decided to let my bralette peek out, it felt a little bit fun, a little bit scandalous. Whatever, YOLO. If you’re feeling more discreet… just pin it or add a little fashion tape.
I’m wearing a Medium…just checked and it looks like it’s sold out in all sizes but Large… honestly, I could probably have gone large. Pay close attention to the measurements for this garment, you may be able to make it work! If you can’t, this romper or this one are amazing alternatives that look super similar!
You know I love to style looks on the casual side sometimes for an unexpected twist… but you can easily take this romper for a night out by adding a pair of heels and losing the hat.
